What was happening? Where were the soldiers going?
In his desperation, Freedom started calling Hope’s name,
realising this was his last chance to find and save her…
The only answer he got was the echo of the huge cave.

At that moment, a crow approached them from the dark
and gasped to Freedom while trying to catch his breath.
“Freedom! Run and save all your lives….
Hope is not here! A malicious curse was cast on her… I will explain later!
Run while you can, this is your chance!

Don’t ask too many questions now.
Here!” The Crow took out Hope’s ring and gave it to Freedom
“She wanted me to give you this! I will find you
and tell you what happened…Run now!”

With Hopes ring in his fist, Freedom and his friends
somehow made their way back to the entrance gate
and, without understanding they were being deceived,
disappeared deep into the night forest.

Restless and desperate, Freedom wandered without direction,
looking for traces or signs of what had happened to Hope.
Why was she not in the caves? What was that crow talking about?
He asked the birds, the flowers and the stars.
Around him, only the ancient trees wailed in sadness…….
Heartbroken, he feared the worst, while calling for the crow.

And then the woods spoke to him.
“Do not call her, Freedom…
It is better that she is gone, for she is safe now…
Móhrdai’s mother Reptilah is dead
and he blames Hope for this deed….
Hope’s life is precious to all of us….
Please, let her stay away, for if she comes back now,
her death would be certain…You are in danger too…”

Right then, on the grass before Freedom,
landed the deceitful crow.
Freezing cold fell over Freedom like a fog.
The crow said, “I come from the caves with news.
Your darling beauty wanders the world in sadness.
On the night of the battle Reptilah turned her into a golden coin.”
“A golden coin ?” the archer cried, aghast. “She is in trouble then?”
The crow jumped in answer, his voice seemingly worried. “Yes, she is!”
Freedom sighed in desperation and asked at once,
“Oh, please tell me what can I do now?”

Grey answered with a grin. “I don’t know.”
Then he landed lazily on Freedom’s shoulder and whispered gently,
“Surrounded by lies, she also misses you on her long journey.
You know, you might find your Hope if you collect
every shining golden coin in the world….“

“But tell me, will I be able to bring her back to life?”
Freedom was holding Hope’s ring and it somehow
made him feel closer to her…
