Móhrdai’s wrath was gruesome –
he slew them both with one hand and roared,
“Tell me, how shall I get this miserable slave now?”

Gamóhra took a step forward:
“Don’t worry, brother. I know how.
I will turn myself into the shape of the girl.
From the distance he will not know the difference.
Humans are so imperfect!
I promise you – when he sees me, he will reveal himself!”
“Alright.” Móhrdai seemed irritated,
but this could really work, so he agreed.

And so the fighting men saw a group of guards in the distance,
dragging a bound, human girl, clothed all in white.
She was desperately calling for help
and her cry was repeated by the echo of the caves.

Three of the men started calling Hope’s name in despair and doubled their efforts
while trying in vain to break through the surrounding Aghárians…
One of the three wore Hunter’s clothes…
And so, Móhrdai and Gamóhra
were now sure the odious boy was among the fighters…

High up in the night sky, Hope was still flying away
as fast as she could, wrapped in the menacing grip of the snake…
The Crow was secretly following them in the distance.

Again, Reptilah lisped maliciously,
“If you refuse to obey Móhrdai, I will punish you.
I will sink my teeth in your tender skin and
the venom will turn you into a golden coin.
You would then travel the world, surrounded by ugly people,
with your beauty lost, you would forget what love is
and only feel everyone’s lust and greed….”

“Ah, you threaten me in vain – nothing can change my mind.
Besides, if you turn me into a golden coin,
you’ll certainly find your own death. Aren’t you afraid of the fall?
Look at the abyss under us – you will be crushed on the sharp rocks.”

For a moment Reptilah stared at the chasm below and shivered in fear.
Yes, her death would be certain….But the snake’s malevolence
and hatred were so strong, they overcame her fear.
The plan! Yes! She had to go through with it….
In her wrath she yelled,
“Yes, I may die, but you….stupid creature,
you will suffer for the rest of your life!”
With these words,
Reptilah sank her teeth into the girl’s arm.
Hope writhed in pain.
A terrifying thunder blended with her cry,
a strong, white light appeared and…
The girl fell from the sky like a lifeless bird.

Just before she reached the ground,
only in a blink of an eye, she turned into a shiny golden coin.
Reptilah, breathless, with no wings to carry her,
fell on the sharp-edged rocks and was crushed dead.
